We are currently looking for new trustees to join our vibrant team. Applicants from any/all backgrounds are welcome. If you are resourceful, professional and committed you could be just the person we are looking for, if you think you can bring something to the table.
Successful candidates would ideally be able to bring;
Understanding of how a board works
Knowledge of Four Pillars and the essential work we carry out across Grampian
Some knowledge of one of the 4 pillars (mental, emotional, physical & sexual health)
Knowledge of LGBT issues and ideas on improving services
A personal/professional background that benefits the organisation

Deejay worked as a Pub Landlord before moving into the field of third sector work in the late 00s establishing and leading many support groups, regularly in charge of volunteers and has created a name for himself throughout Grampian as a caring service provider for his LGBT+ kin and more. Deejay works very closely with other organisations across Grampian and currently Chairs both NELGBT+ Community Development Group and Grampian Pride. He also currently works as a resettlement worker for Aberdeen Cyrenians supporting individuals within the service. His expertise and vast experience makes him a valuable asset to Four Pillars in providing our services.
Craig graduated in Chemical Engineering in 2014 from the University of Aberdeen and since early 2015 has volunteered alongside Deejay becoming close friends, colleagues and a dynamic force in providing services to the LGBT+ community. He has much experience in events, reporting and administration and is well known across the Aberdeen scene as he worked in Cheerz Bar and Club for over 2 years.
Liam has had various roles both within the public and third sector organisations. Liam is a hard worker and has achieved great heights in his career. He currently works within the S&G group and covers shifts in their various venues , including Cheerz bar and club. This keeps Liam close to the center of the community and is able to provide valued insight both to and from the local community. Liam is also a dab hand in social media and as such manages a small team of volunteers for Four Pillars.
